A WORKSHOP WAS HELD ON 3 LARGE PROJECTS THAT ARE BEING IMPLEMENTED WITH S.KOREA'S KOICA AGENCY

A workshop was held at the Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi regarding the 3 major projects being implemented with Korea's KOICA agency to support IT and start-ups. Establishment of a manufacturing area based on the FabLab concept for the development of IT business education and integration of education and research at the Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi. The director of the representative office of the Korean International Hacking Agency in Uzbekistan - Ms. Park Sunjin, the official leaders of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, IT-Park, Tashkent University of Information Technologies took part in the workshop.

 Project leaders and representatives from South Korean partner organizations of these projects visited the event. The main goal of the workshop, combining the above 3 projects, is to develop digital technologies in Uzbekistan, increase the share of IT and start-up projects, improve the innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem, train personnel with modern knowledge in this regard, and strengthen the integration of education, science and production. During the event, the achieved results of each project to date, as well as aspects that serve as a bridge for the rest of the projects were discussed separately.

Experts from South Korea's Sunchunhyan University, Gyeongbuk Technology Park, Korea Technology Parks Association, Dain Leaders Company, Kookmin University and other organizations shared the Korean experience in developing the innovation ecosystem and supporting startups. At the end of the workshop, the participants agreed to organize seminars and trainings on the selection of startups, training and mentoring courses, training of young people and improving their business knowledge.
