Program Educational Objectives
Graduates from the Information Security program at Tashkent University of Information Technology are expected to attain or achieve the following Program Educational Objectives within a few years of graduation:
- Establish themselves as competent professionals who contribute to the design, implementation, and management of secure information systems in diverse organizational and technological environments.
- Demonstrate leadership and innovation by developing advanced solutions to emerging challenges in the field of Information Security while adhering to ethical standards and societal needs.
- Engage in lifelong learning through professional certifications, advanced degrees, or active participation in research and development activities in Information Security and related fields.
- Serve as effective collaborators and communicators, making significant contributions to the global and regional Information Security communities, including addressing the needs of industry, government, and society.
Student Outcomes of the Information Security program
The Student Outcomes (SOs) of the Information Security program are:
- Analyze a complex computing problem and to apply principles of computing and other relevant disciplines to identify solutions.
- Design, implement, and evaluate a computing-based solution to meet a given set of computing requirements in the context of the program’s discipline.
- Communicate effectively in a variety of professional contexts.
- Recognize professional responsibilities and make informed judgments in computing practice based on legal and ethical principles.
- Function effectively as a member or leader of a team engaged in activities appropriate to the program’s discipline.
- Apply security principles and practices to maintain operations in the presence of risks and threats.
