At the same time, Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi is carrying out significant work as a coordinator and executive organization of many international projects in order to study the experiences of European countries and apply them to educational processes. One of them is "MechaUZ: Modernization of Mechatronics and Robotics for Bachelor degree in Uzbekistan through Innovative Ideas and Digital Technology" (MechaUZ: Modernization of Mechatronics and Robotics for Bachelor degree in Uzbekistan through Innovative Ideas and Digital Technology ) is an international project.
The project is intended for the 2020-2023, in which the study of the state of training of personnel in the existing "Mechatronics and robotics" undergraduate education of the higher educational institutions of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the opening of a new educational direction based on modern demands and proposals, modernization of the existing educational directions, equipping educational laboratories with modern material and technical means, as well as improving the qualifications of teachers in this direction were envisaged.
In order to monitor the fulfillment of the above-mentioned tasks and to improve the qualifications of teachers, from May 30 to June 5, 2022, at Vilnius Gedimino University of Technology in Vilnius, Lithuania (for information, this university is QS: 2022 in the world university ranking ranked 751-800) was planned to organize a face-to-face meeting, and as expected, this meeting took place on May 30 of this year. Representatives from 6 higher educational institutions of European countries and 6 higher educational institutions of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan are participating in this meeting.

A total of 35 representatives from Uzbekistan, including 5 from Tashkent University of Information Technologies, Javlonbek Abdujalilov, Khalimjon Khujamatov, Doston Hasanov, Ibrahimbek Yusupov and Yernazar Reypnazarov, are participating in the meeting.
The meeting was held in high spirit and it was opened by the rector of the university, prof. dr. Romualdas Kliukas and and he expressed his sincere thoughts to the representatives of the meeting and wished success for the work of the meeting.
Also, the dean of the Faculty of Mechanics of the university, Justinas Gargasas, made a speech and expressed his gratitude to everyone for their visit and said that necessary conditions will be created for the meeting to take place at a high level. After that, the director of the International Relations Department of the university, Aušra Pelÿdienÿ, gave a presentation to the participants about Vilnius Gedimino University, and noted that the university is ready to cooperate with everyone.
Anastasios Ntabizas, a representative of the South-East European Research Center, spoke during the speeches. Today's agenda of the meeting was "Development of a new bachelor's program" (work package 2), "Development of new qualification courses for teachers and administrative staff, engineers of Uzbekistan." and organization" (work package 3) as well as presentations highlighting the activities of "Vilnius Gediminas" Technical University in this area took place.
