  • On December 27, 2024, the 5th(747) meeting of Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi (TUIT) was held.

The agenda included discussions on preparations for Defender of the Fatherland Day, the state of library resources, support for socially vulnerable students during winter and summer academic recovery periods, and other topics. The session concluded with several staff members and students being recognized in various categories:
Awards and Recognitions:
• 🟢 Azamat Kadyrov, Associate Professor of the MUT Department, was honored with the “Outstanding New Instructor” award for his exceptional contribution to educating over 50 students and earning the HCIA international certification. His team secured first place at the regional finals of the Huawei ICT Competition 2024-2025, earning a spot in the Global Finals in China. Team leader Mirzo Ulugbek Bafoyev was awarded a statuette.
• 🟢 TUIT won a 3rd level diploma and 1st place in the regional stage at the international ICPC competition. Along with a ticket to the semi-finals of the ICPC, the team received an opportunity to cover the expenses of official travel in the amount of 60 million soums. Coaches Sunatullo Hojiyev and Zarif Kadyrov were presented with certificates and vouchers.
🎁 Academic Honors:
➖ Pozilova Shakhnoza Khaydaralievna, Associate Professor of the ATT Department, was awarded a Doctor of Science (DSc) in Pedagogical Sciences.
➖ Babajanov Elmurod Satimbaevich, Associate Professor of the NF Department, received a Doctor of Science (DSc) in Technical Sciences.
As part of a joint diploma program with Klagenfurt University, five TUIT master’s graduates received diplomas from both institutions:
