Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi took part and won the grant of the Foundation for Academic Innovation with the project “Transfer of US Masters Training Technologies to TUIT”.

The aim of the presented project is the introduction of advanced technologies for teaching undergraduates of US universities in TUIT, including the organization and launch of a financial laboratory, multimedia training programs, and a distance learning system (for undergraduates of the specialty of the Faculty of Economics and Management in ICT).

The amount of the project is 140 thousand US dollars, carried out in cooperation with the University of WEBSTER (USA). As part of the project, the university organizes the introduction of multimedia training programs, distance learning systems; also financial laboratory and special equipment is purchased.

The grant competition announced by the Foundation for Academic Innovation is held as part of a project aimed at modernizing the higher education system, based on cooperation between the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education and the World Bank.
