In May 2025 TUIT student Quvonchbek Umurzoqov was listed among the top performers at STANDOFF 15, an international cybersecurity competition in which more than 30 teams attacked and defended a model of a city’s digital infrastructure.

TUIT’s Faculty of Cybersecurity trains specialists to protect government systems, banks and critical infrastructure, and the University encourages students to test their skills in national and international competitions.
