🏛 Professor Bakhtiyor Shukhratovich Makhkamov, Rector of Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi, delivered a presentation entitled “Digital Transformation of Higher Education in Uzbekistan: TUIT Case” at the international summit “Global Future Higher Education Summit: A New Ecosystem for AI-Driven Industry-Academia Collaborative Talent Development”, currently being held in Shenzhen, China.
📌 During his presentation, the Rector highlighted the reforms being implemented to advance the digital transformation of higher education in Uzbekistan, the digitalization of educational processes at TUIT, the integration of artificial intelligence technologies into academic and research activities, and the university’s experience in training specialists through close cooperation with the IT industry.
The presentation also provided information on the university’s efforts to develop a modern educational ecosystem, strengthen the integration of industry and higher education, equip students with practical skills, expand international cooperation, and prepare competitive specialists capable of meeting the challenges of the AI era.
