On June 18, the Uzbek delegation, led by Olimjon Umarov, First Deputy Minister for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications of the Republic of Uzbekistan, visited the Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radio electronics (BSUIR).
The meeting participants familiarized themselves with educational and scientific activities, as well as the main areas of international cooperation.
On June 19, the rector of the Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi (TUIT) Tulkin Teshabayev and the rector of the Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radio electronics (BSUIR) Vadim Bogush signed a work plan of the joint faculty of information technologies for the implementation of educational programs for the 2019-2020 academic year.
In addition, the parties discussed the features of organization of educational process at the faculty, as well as the possibilities of integrated education of Uzbek students at BSUIR.
We remind you that from 2019-2020 academic year students are expected to be admitted to the joint faculty of information technology in the following areas. Training at the joint faculty of TUIT-BSUIR is carried out in two stages. At the first stage, students are trained in TUIT (1-2 courses), then at the second stage, students receive knowledge in BSUIR (3-4 courses). Graduates who have successfully graduated from the faculty receive a double diploma from TUIT-BSUIR. Currently, the acceptance of applicants' documents for the joint faculty has begun.
