Another “Leader and Youth Meeting” was held at TUIT
👥 Today, at Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi, another “Leader and Youth Meeting” was organized to strengthen open dialogue with youth and support their initiatives and startup ideas.
This meeting was held in cooperation between TUIT and IT Park Uzbekistan, with participation from the university administration, IT Park officials, and student youth.
Based on the Decree PQ-59 dated February 11, 2026, of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, broad opportunities are being created to support and develop youth startups through a comprehensive startup ecosystem formed in collaboration with ministries, higher education institutions, and banks.
During the meeting, TUIT Rector Bakhtiyor Makhkamov and IT Park Uzbekistan CEO Azamat Karamatov shared their views on the opportunities being created for youth, developing practical skills in the IT field, supporting startup ideas, and turning them into real projects.
Additionally, representatives of IT Park gave a presentation on the comprehensive ecosystem for supporting startups. During the event, TATU students also showcased their startup ideas, and the youth had the opportunity to directly exchange ideas with experts about their projects.
🖋 As part of the event, negotiations were held to take cooperation between TUIT and IT Park to a new level, and a memorandum of cooperation was signed.
This memorandum:
💬 supports startup projects and innovative developments;
💬 implements incubation and acceleration programs;
💬 organizes internships and practical training for students;
💬 and serves to introduce elements of “dual” education.
🗒 This meeting was another important step at TUIT to establish direct communication with youth, practically support their ideas and initiatives, and create new opportunities in the field of digital technologies.
