The State Inspectorate for Quality Supervision of Education under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan announced the results of a rating of 57 higher educational institutions of the Republic (with branches) as of January 1, 2019, after analyzing the activities of universities in period from February to June, according to improved indicators and international experience.
Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi took 4th place in this rating (having risen by 6 points relative to the results of the previous rating).
By the number of teachers who have received the degrees of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or Doctor of Science (DSc) at universities included in the TOP1000 of prestigious universities in the world, Tashkent University of Information Technology is one of the first places in the Republic. In addition, TUIT showed one of the highest employer ratings.
