As part of “ICT WEEK UZBEKISTAN – 2026”, a forum entitled “Digital Education: AI, Education and the Future of Professions” was held.
The forum addressed the transformation of education in the era of artificial intelligence, the impact of AI technologies on the labour market and future professions, and modern opportunities in digital education. As part of the forum, AWS Academy was officially launched in Uzbekistan, with a symbolic opening ceremony held to mark the occasion.
The ceremony was attended by rectors of leading higher education institutions in Uzbekistan, representatives of AWS, the Ministry of Digital Technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan and IT Park. During the event, TUIT Rector, Professor B. Makhkamov, cut the symbolic ribbon to mark the launch of AWS Academy in Uzbekistan.
The integration of AWS Academy into TUIT’s educational process will enable students to acquire internationally aligned knowledge and practical skills in cloud technologies, artificial intelligence, machine learning and data analytics, as well as prepare for AWS certification courses.
Thus, the addition of AWS Academy to the leading international IT academies already operating at TUIT, including Cisco, Huawei, Oracle and ZTE, is an important step towards further expanding the university’s modern IT education ecosystem and preparing students for the international technological environment.
