GOOD LUCK, MASTERS!

On June 27, 2019, a graduation ceremony was held at the Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi.

The annual festive event was held in a festive atmosphere. The Minister for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications of the Republic of Uzbekistan, representatives of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education, as well as heads of leading enterprises and organizations of the ICT industry were invited to the ceremony. In particular, Minister for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sh. Sadikov, Director General of Uzbektelecom N.Hasanov, Deputy Director of the Center for Electromagnetic Compatibility N.Ismailova, Director of the Republican Center for Telecommunication Networks Management of Uzbekistan B.Tillaboev, General Director of the insurance company Alskom T. Iminov, head of the Information and Communication Technologies Development Fund O. Omonov.


The Minister for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sh. Sadikov and the Rector of the University T. Teshabaev gave a speech at the ceremony and addressed the masters with congratulations.

In accordance with the National Training Program, a master department was opened from the 1999-2000 academic year at the Tashkent University of Information Technologies. Over the past period, the university has trained more than 2,550 qualified personnel with a master's degree.



In 2019, 161 undergraduates successfully defended their master's theses in 14 specialties and received a master's degree. The university has all conditions for obtaining undergraduate knowledge and conducting scientific activities. Currently, the services of undergraduates information resource center, electronic library. In addition, wide access to Internet resources is provided. University undergraduates have the opportunity to improve their skills in leading foreign universities. The State Certification Commission notes the high level of graduate master's theses this year. In particular, the defense of about 30 master's theses in foreign languages deserves attention. In the process of preparing masters TUIT cooperates with foreign and domestic enterprises, companies, firms and branches of banks located in Uzbekistan. These include the Ministry for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications of the Republic of Uzbekistan, JSC "Uzbektelecom", as well as a number of companies and organizations in the field of ICT. Certainly, graduate students will make their contribution to the development of the information technology and communications industry in our country.
