On January 8-9, a scientific and methodical conference on: "Improving the system of personnel training in the implementation of the Action Strategy for the Further Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan" was held at the Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi.
The conference was held in 9 sections. 251 reports were presented. During the conference, following proposals aimed at further improving the quality of the educational process were put forward:
- enhancing the prestige of the conference, inviting professors and teachers from specialized universities of the Republic and abroad, specialists in marketing of industry enterprises to participate in conference, as well as sharing experience, studying personnel demand;
- attraction of all university departments to the preparation of curricula in areas of education and specialties, ensuring participation in the process of creating programs in subjects;
- development of a system that serves to improve the quality of distance education in the context of promoting the principles of credit education system, as well as meeting the needs of the market for information technology specialists by increasing the admission quota for distance education.
On January 9, the scientific-methodical conference finished its work.
