On September 29, 2025, a scientific seminar was held at the Department of Telecommunication Engineering at the Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi.
The seminar was attended by the Director of the “Center for Scientific and Technical Competence and Interaction” of the Russian Federation, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor A.O. Nizhgorodov, who delivered a lecture on the topic “Information Platform for Monitoring the Reliability of Fiber Optic Communication Lines in Telecommunication Operators.”
The following issues were discussed:
• stages of implementation of the digital monitoring project;
• economic efficiency of implementing a digital platform;
• its role in ensuring network reliability.
The seminar was actively attended by professors and teachers of the department, specialists of JSC “Uzbektelecom,” SUE “UzTTBRM,” and master’s students. The dialogue, questions and answers, and exchange of experience made the event scientifically and practically effective.
In addition, within the framework of the seminar, in accordance with the cooperation agreements adopted in April 2025, educational materials were handed over to the university library.
These initiatives will contribute to the further development of scientific research and the educational process at the Department of Telecommunication Engineering.
