The UNESCO office in Uzbekistan together with the Muhammad al-Khwarizmi Tashkent University of Information Technologies announces a competition for the development of mobile applications in the framework of the joint project "Youth Mobile". The aim of the project is to assist in solving problems related to the development of youth through the use of "smart" mobile applications. This project is aimed at the implementation of skills for the development of youth business in the field of IT. The project also involved a lot of girls.

Terms of participation in the competition:

• Age from 18 to 30 years;
• Applications from individual participants are accepted;
• It is necessary to develop a mobile application for Android and IOS platforms;
• Mobile applications should cover the following BRM:

- BRMG4: Transparent quality education;

- BRM5: Gender equality and empowerment of girls;

- BRM6: Stable water use;

- BRM11.4: Preservation of cultural heritage;

- BRM12.b: Tourism focused on introducing national culture and job creation;

- BRM16.10: Providing access to public information, especially people with disabilities.

To participate in the competition, you must fill out the application below for registration; and send it before November 20, 2018 to tashkent@unesco.org. The competition will be attended by the first 100 applications.

On December 10-13, 2018, the organizing committee of the competition will invite registered participants to submit their mobile applications.

To do this, by December 10, 2018, mobile applications that will be presented at the competition must be placed in the electronic stores of the Play Store or the App Store, maybe even in both. The ceremony of announcing and awarding the winners will be held on December 15, 2018 in the main building of TUIT. The winners will be awarded with certificates and valuable gifts.
