The State Committee for the Development of Tourism of the Republic of Uzbekistan in order to widely promote the tourism potential of our country among young people announces the launch of the project Tourism challenge!
Students of educational institutions of the country can take part in competition. The competition is held in several stages:
- Students who wish to participate (on behalf of the educational institution) must register on the website of the competition: www.tourchallenge.uz;
- Upon arrival, you should receive the corresponding attribute (number or flag with the name of the educational institution) from the responsible representative, and place it on a map specially prepared for the competition;
- Broadcast travel through the media and social networks (via facebook, instagram, telegram, etc.).
Winners are determined by following criteria:
- The period of travel arrangements and travel (priority is given to trips organized during the low tourist season: January, February, March);
- Total travel distance;
- Feature and creativity in travel routes;
- Duration of travel (sequence);
- Number of trips;
- Number of travelers;
- Publication of travel in the media (type of media and their number);
- Distribution of trips in social networks (number of views);
- The quality of photo and video materials taken during travel;
- Winners are awarded in three categories (school, lyceum / college, higher education).
The winners will be awarded with:
For the 1st place: a collection of books (100 books) and a voucher for a 7 day trip to two neighboring countries to six participants of competition (the most initiative and active participants of travel are elected);
For the 2nd place: a collection of books (50 books) and a voucher for a 5 day trip to one neighboring country for six participants in the competition (the most enterprising and active participants of travel are elected);
For the 3rd place: a collection of books (50 pieces) and a voucher for a 5-day trip to three cities of Uzbekistan six participants of the competition (the most initiative and active participants of travel are elected)
Period of the competition:
The competition will be announced in early December 2018 and will run until the end of April 2019. Winners will be announced at the end of the 2018-2019 academic year and will be awarded at the end of May 2019.
