B. Makhkamov, the rector of Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi and S. Siddikova, the rector of Bukhara Institute of Engineering and Technology also took part in the meeting. During the meeting, cooperation issues in the fields of higher education, science, and innovation between the two countries were discussed. Uzbekistan proposed several important initiatives. Specifically, it was suggested that the higher education institutions of both countries collaborate closely in areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Information Technology, Green Economy, Renewable Energy sources, Food Security, and the Oil and Gas industry. It was emphasized that developing joint projects aimed at further strengthening scientific and practical cooperation between Uzbekistan and Qatar is of significant importance. The parties reached several agreements on various aspects, including conducting joint scientific research, establishing faculty and student exchange programs, and organizing conferences and seminars in collaboration.
