In TUIT has been implemented the ACADEMICA project (Accessibility and Harmonization of Higher Education in Central Asia through Curriculum Modernization and Development -561553-POP-1-2015-1-BG-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP) that began activities since October 2015, which is funded The European Commission within the ERASMUS + program. The project unites 15 organizations - institutions, ministries of education, associations from 7 countries of Europe and Central Asia - Bulgaria, Austria, Italy, Spain, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan. The main goal of the project is the modernization of the engineering curricula in the universities of Central Asia through the development of ICT and providing the modernization and harmonization of engineering education.
Within the project framework, 10 teachers of TUIT underwent 4-month "E-course ACADEMICA", which was held online from February 1 to May 15, 2017. The purpose of the training course was to equip teachers with the necessary know-how and skills to upgrade traditional academic courses by converting them into distance or mixed courses. The course introduces the latest technological tools that are used for enrichment learning materials that corresponds expectations of students.
At the end of the course, the teachers had the opportunity to develop or find autonomously technological training materials, determine suitable standards for lessons, also use the tools offered by WEB 2.0.
November 29, 2017 rector of TUIT Tulkin Teshabaev presented Certificates to TUIT teachers who passed and successfully completed the "E-course ACADEMICA". This certificate gives the teachers additional points at the rate of 36 academic hours, equivalent to 5 ECTS.
