Publication of principles and commitments on organised crime, corruption and bribery

Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi publishes its principles and commitments on preventing corruption, bribery and organised crime. The University’s anti-corruption documents, its compliance control system and the ways to report suspected corruption are published on the University website, and a dedicated department manages the anti-corruption compliance system.

- TUIT main campus in Tashkent. Figures cover the main campus; activities of the regional branches (Fergana, Nukus, Samarkand, Nurafshon, and Urgench, which joined Urgench State University in 2025) are mentioned where TUIT took part. Activities described took place at the main campus unless a branch is named.

Our commitments
- Zero tolerance of corruption and bribery in admissions, examinations, appointments, procurement and every other activity of the University.
- No gifts or payments to influence decisions; conflicts of interest declared and managed.
- Anti-corruption clauses in contracts with suppliers and partners.
- Protection of anyone who reports suspected corruption in good faith.
- Cooperation with law-enforcement bodies in cases of suspected corruption or organised crime.
How the commitments are applied
The Anti-Corruption and Compliance Control Department manages the University’s compliance control system, checks high-risk processes such as admissions and procurement, trains staff and receives reports. Reports can be made by telephone, by email or in person, and anonymously.
Awareness in 2025
Activities in 2025 included a round table on honesty and legal immunity to corruption at the Faculty of Telecommunication Technologies (26 September 2025, t.me/tatu_talabalar_uchun/19212) and a legal awareness meeting with the University’s compliance-control unit and crime-prevention inspectors at the Faculty of ICT Economics and Management (6 November 2025, t.me/tatu_talabalar_uchun/20990). In February 2025 the University distributed “Stop Corruption” video material through its official channels to students and staff.
