On May 1, 2017, representatives of the Korea University of Media Arts (mister Yean Sung and Seo Chang-yong) visited TUIT. The first vice-rector of scientific affairs F.Agzamov, the head of the International Relations Department J.Abdujalilov, the dean of the Television Technology Faculty F. Nuraliev, heads of the departments and the consultant-expert of the e-Government Center Jeon Bung Wook took part in the meeting.
At the beginning of the meeting, first vice-rector of scientific affairs F.Agzamov informed the guests about the history of Tashkent University of Information Technologies, existing faculties, branches of the university and about cardinal changes at the university. In particular, the issues of cooperation with the leading universities of South Korea, courses of professional development were also discussed.
Mr. Yean Sung thanked for the warm welcome and for the organization of the meeting and he spoke about the Korean University of Media Arts, departments of the Television Technologies direction. At the meeting, an agreement was reached to develop cooperation in the following areas:
- Teacher exchange programs at Television Technologies faculty, implication of professors from the Korea University of Media Arts to TUIT and organizing master classes for students and teachers during the semester;
- Exchange of undergraduate students at Television Technologies faculty;
- Within the framework of cooperation between the university, the creation of media content by students, the organization of drawings and applications contests and various taming;
- Development of curriculum and cooperation plan for the exchange of educational materials.
At the end of the visit, the guests thanked for an interesting and fruitful meeting.
