Meetings Held with High School Graduates

The Uzbekistan – 2030 Strategy outlines goals to further popularize the IT sector among youth, increase service exports in the field, employ 300,000 young people in IT, and train school students in modern professions that are in high demand on the international IT market.
According to Presidential Decree No. PQ–103 dated March 14, 2025, “On further improving the support system for families and women”, and the minutes of the Cabinet of Ministers meeting held on April 21, 2025 (No. 21), specific instructions were given to expand access to higher education for women.
To implement these instructions, spark interest among students in IT and well-paid professions, and inform girls about opportunities and reforms in IT education, on May 15–16 of this year, staff and faculty members of the Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi conducted meetings with school students at secondary schools located in the Yunusabad district of Tashkent city.
🗒 During these meetings, detailed information was provided about: IT professions and high-income career paths, learning conditions and academic programs at the university, joint degree programs that offer diplomas in collaboration with foreign universities, admission requirements for undergraduate studies, updates in the admissions process, as well as study opportunities on both scholarship and contract basis.
Students' interest and questions were discussed, and plans for the future were shared.
