On July 14 this year, the oath was taken by students of the military department of the Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi.
The ceremony of the military oath was opened with a welcoming speech by the rector Tulkin Zakirovich Teshabayev of the Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi. In his speech, the rector of TUIT emphasized the importance of serving the Motherland, the duty of every citizen for the protection of Uzbekistan.
Then the main part of the solemn event began - the oath was taken by the students of the military department.
The military department of the Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi has been operating since the opening of the university. The main purpose of the TUIT military department is to train officers and reserve personnel for the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The activity of the military department is built cyclically: the periods of technical training are replaced by combined arms training.
For the 2018-2019 academic year, the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Uzbekistan selected 165 second-year students to study military disciplines.
Students enrolled to the military department were summoned to training camps, which were organized by the Department of Defense Affairs of Yunusabad district. During the academic year, students acquired knowledge in the subjects of military training and consolidated them in training sessions and practical exercises. Most of the practical training took place in military units and at the Military Institute of Communications.
Students who successfully passed the state attestation took the oath to serve for Motherland, the President and for our people. During the event, demonstration of military performances was presented.
