Yinghui Wang, PhD, doctoral supervisor, second level professor at Jiangnan University. He received the B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees from Shaanxi Normal University, Xi’an, China, Southwest Petroleum University, Chengdu, China, Northwestern University, Xi’an, China in 1989, 1999, and 2002, respectively. He has been a Full Professor with the School of Artificial Intelligence and Computer Science, Jiangnan university since 2020.

He is the Executive Director of China Virtual Reality and Visualization Industry Technology Innovation Platform, Senior member of CCF (Chinese Computer Society) Executive Committee Member of CCF - Virtual Reality and Visualization Technology Committee, Member of 3DV Committee of China Graphics and Imaging Society, ACM/IEEE member, former director of the Shaanxi Computer Society, expert in degree and graduate education evaluation from the Ministry of Education (2004), director of the Shaanxi Provincial Key Laboratory of Network Computing and Security Technology, academic leader from December 2007 to June 2020, dean of the School of Computer Science at Xi’an University of Technology (June 2006 to October 2016), and deputy director at the department level of the Institute of Higher Education (November 2016 to June 2020), as well as a leader in the field of computer science. Now he is the "Innovation and Entrepreneurship Plan - Innovative Talents" of Jiangsu Province and the "the Taihu Lake Talent Plan - Innovative Leading Talents" of Wuxi City. Experts in online evaluations such as the China National Science and Technology Award and the National Science and Technology Talent Program, as well as Program Co chair/Committee or Publicity Chair from over ten international conferences, have led the development of one national standard and participated in the development of four national standards. He has been engaged in research on 3D computer vision intelligence for a long time, and has successively led national key research and development projects, 7 general projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and more than 20 provincial and ministerial level major scientific and technological innovation plans and research projects. Published over 200 papers in authoritative journals and international top conferences, and received recognition from SCI EI searched over 150 articles and published 7 works or translations; Applying for 67 invention patents and registering over 90 software copyrights; Received 6 second-class and above science and technology awards at the provincial and ministerial level.

His current research interests mainly focus on 3D Computer Vision Intelligence (3D object recognition, 3D scene modeling and visualization, augmented reality and mixed reality, human-computer interaction, computer graphics, image processing and understanding, monocular image 3D structure restoration, multi view 3D restoration and its applications, etc), and Software Theory and Methods (software architecture, software components, software understanding, software evolution, service based distributed software technology, software methodology, etc.).
