Visit of KETI delegation (Korea) to TUIT
On February 22, 2010 Sadikjan Kasimov, rector of TUIT met with Mr. Pyong Rak Choi, the president of Korea Electronic Technologies Institute (KETI) and Mr.Hwang Hak In, vice-president of KETI in TUIT. In the meeting was noted the significance of signed Memorandum of Understanding dated the 9th February, 2010 between Communications and Information Agency of Uzbekistan, Tashkent University of Information Technologies and Korea Electronics Institute (KETI) about cooperation on development of education and science in the area of ICT in the frame of state visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Republic of Korea.

Seminar on Practical Linux System Programming is held between Tashkent University of Information Technologies and Konkuk University (South Korea) on the basis of the MOU between two universities on February 16-26, 2010 in TUIT. Seminar is going to be held by the professor and students from Konkuk University. Students interested in Linux programming system can participate in this seminar. Working language is English.

In order to advance friendly relations between Uzbekistan and Korea, Communications and Information Agency of Uzbekistan (CIAUz), Tashkent University of Information Technologies (TUIT) and Inha University (IU) in recognition of their common interests in promotion of educational and academic exchanges have agreed to sign tripartite Memorandum of Understanding and signing ceremony was held on February 8, 2010 in Incheon city.

2010 January 30 Tashkent University of Information Technology in the assembly hall was a meeting with AK UzbekTelecom "Engineering Technician markazi director of branch production company TELMAX ELEKTRONIKS E. Allaev and K. Mullaboev. In the meeting was a presentation on the practical steps implementing innovative projects and technologies in AK UzbekTelecom.
